Since starting this blog, I've felt a little bit under qualified in the infertility treatment arena since this wasn't in my personal experience. I can tell you about miscarriage, difficulty getting and staying pregnant in my case, but not about infertility doctors and medical treatments. We were lucky enough to get pregnant without medical intervention and I often think that if we do try for another biological child, given my age now, I think that we would have a different story. I often think that another woman who has been through the maze of meds and treatments would be a great asset to this blog, but for now, you guys have me only on this site. When I found this quiz on www.about.com, I thought to myself, "Now we'll really see how much I don't know." Well guess what? Here is a copy of my results.

You answered 10 items out of 10 Yes.

Your score is 100%. Your knowledge of IVF is higher with a higher score.

No way! Actually the questions were pretty easy and general, not detailed at all, but it made me feel a bit better. Even if I don't have the emotional and personal knowledge, I do know some basics to pass along.

Kim Elise Goldman writes the intro to this quiz:
In vitro fertilization or IVF is a long and involved process of helping a couple with infertility to conceive. There are many myths about the process of IVF. Before you can even begin to think about IVF helping you with your family building efforts there are some basics you need to know about IVF, including bursting some of the IVF myths.

If you would also like to take this quiz, click here. As I mentioned before, it is pretty basic and for those of you who have been through the process, it will be a breeze. Good luck!
